From #MeToo to #BlackLiveMatters, as a supporter of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), I've always keep an eye on relevant digital issues.

I've enjoyed the course so far by learning more digital issues that I wasn't aware of. And more importantly, what lessons you should learn from it.

Cancel Culture

Central Culture refers to someone, usually a famous, reputed person like celebrity or politician who is culturally blocked from having a prominent public platform. It usually caused by a person's inappropriate misconducts like making racist or sexist comments, or offensive, stupid jokes that provoke discrimination, hate or even violence.

From boycotting to canceling a person's digital footprint and online presence on major social media platforms, its definitely a new weapon to kill a person's reputation in every way. In our evolved digital world, such misbehavior could even get into your career and income source.

We, as a student you see in the below photo (!), should all be more aware of our social behavior as stupid comments or word is hard to be erased or unseen in this new era.

It's been interesting to learn different digital issues that other class mates are keen to explore. I'll share more next time on the project topic we're coming up with.
