Coldplay sang "Nobody said it was easy", but it is still much harder than I thought. Work was crazy as hell so I only manage to review class notes over the weekend.
Recalling the first time knowing that we have to build a website by ourselves in less than two-month time, plus other assignments like group project, the presentations and an academic essay. I was so confident that... no way I can complete that OMG.
Going through the notes do help me especially in online media communications, from the concept and theories, to forms and tools. I've heard of UI and UX before but never explore further. It's a roller-coaster-like yet practical journey to execute the concepts by making a website, and learnt how a well-designed website would have a much higher chance to increase user's dwell time and conversion rate say if you're running an online store.
ISOTYPE (International System of Typographic Picture Education) is another new things I've learnt in class, which I aim to try out on the website by using more graphics instead of just text to present an idea or issue.
